    How to use it

As with jobs which involves mixing chemical substances or solutions and applying them, you should always read the instructions very carefully, especially those which relate to health and safety.

Thereafter, you need to fully prepare the existing floor. This can involve work which includes removing existing coatings, smoothing out bumps, filling in holes, removing grease spots, cleaning, drying, and covering fixed items so that they do not get splashed or marked.

Once you have prepared everything the basic process to mix and apply the epoxy floor coating is as follows:

    • Mix the resin in its individual bucket for 2 minutes to ensure the color is what you desire.
    • Pour both the resin and the activator into the large mixing bucket, and mix thoroughly for 3 minutes.
    • Empty the bucket on to the floor at the farthest point in the room.
    • Use the brush to spread the coating to the base of the wall.
    • Use the squeegee to spread the coating across the floor.
    • Use the roller to make the coating consistent and even.
    • Apply the aluminum oxide  anti-skid (if required).
    • Apply the decorative flakes (if required).
